Boss LS-2 A + B mix pedal order

Hi lads!

I'm trying to improve my sound and stop losing my low ends. So, I just bought a used LS2 pedal to try some of my not-so-bass-friendly pedals, and I was wondering what setup you guys would recommend for the A+B mix mode (fifth mode) ?
Here's my guess:

Bass => Tuner => input LS2 output=> Amp

LS2 A send => Black Finger => Soul food => Big muff => Octaver => Chorus => Deluxe memory man => LS2 A return

LS2 B send => LS2 B return


Does that sound ok?

Yes, and you could leave the B unpluged, it will work (b will be your clean blend).

You have it correct. And as mentioned, you don’t have to plug anything into B. It will auto route your clean signal.

Do be wary, with that many pedals there could be potential for phasing. One or more of those pedals ‘could’ flip the phase of your signal causing it to sound thin when paired with your clean tone. If you do happen to get one that does this, just make that a pedal that doesn’t get put in that loop.

Probably only in A+B Mix Mode, otherwise a pedal chain would do it without the LS-2 in there (that's my line of thinking anyway.)

I've run dozens of pedals thru my LS-2 and have yet to encounter the out of phase issue. Most pedals behave just fine going thru it.

OP, I've been using my LS-2 with good results this way: Bass > Tuner > Comp > octaver > LS-2 = dirts in loop A, while loop B has (octaver first here, if not in front of LS-2) and my modulation stuff. Exit LS-2 > EQ > L/Hpf > Amp/Cab

That way, if you want to combine a muff with your dry signal hitting a chorus or a delay, it all makes maximum use of the Mix Mode If you just want clean thru one loop, leave those pedals off.

Of course, if running your muff into delay is something you do, then that setup isn't going to be ideal for you, but you get the idea... Any pedals you don't stack together can go in seperate loops to add more options to your board.
