Boss LS-2: best budget option for effects blending?

Love my One Control Mosquite.

Good to know. I am considering that one. But my only concern is it not having an extra volume boost in case the blending process causes a volume dip. Have you ever noticed that to be an issue? The gentleman from Saturnworks indicated in a video that blenders form an X pattern with the blended signals, and when you have it at 50/50, there can be a volume loss.

I'm thinking about starting with something relatively simple like this. A bass blender booster looper:
True Bypass Looper | Saturnworks Pedals | USA
If phase inversion becomes an issue, I could always cross that bridge when I come to it. I've been looking for LS-2's used, but haven't seen them for less than $80 lately, and then you have the buffer color to worry about. I'm more of a true bypass guy if/when I can help it.

I have one of those, Bryan made me a really cool custom one for bass.
Only thing is, I stopped using it because it was causing a lot of my pedals to pop, very aggressively when engaging them.
Like, real bad, as in making my speakers jump like crazy bad.

I think he mentions something about that on his website, or I read about it somewhere else. Those kind of footswitches can cause static electricity to build up, and when you step on them the first time or two they can cause a loud pop. You're supposed to step on them a few times before you fire everything up to discharge the static, but that can be annoying, or you might forget. The silent footswitches that don't have that issue are much more expensive to use. I have the same problem with my EHX Small Clone that I use on my guitar board. If I don't pop it a few times before I fire up the amp, it will make my speaker pop.
