Boss ME 50B Multi Effects Pedal

I bought one about four months ago as it seemed like the perfect solution and it was fun to see the available sounds it brought. After a month messing around having fun with it, i realised that I only really needed the flanger and the octaver, so I bought those (also Boss, though i would have liked the ElectroHarmonix octaver but it was twice as much!) and put this up for sale. The tuner doesn't mute the system when you tune, but I already had a TC electronics tuner (which does) but I didn't really rate the tuner in this anyway after using the TC electronics one. I think if you really needed a vast array of sounds and like playing around to really see the capabilities, this could work, but my advice would be to borrow one (maybe not as easy as it sounds) and see what sounds really work for you, then buy specific pedals that you need to support those. they are more expensive, but better. I still have mine for sale if you want to buy it, but I'm in Hong Kong!

Reviving an old thread as I recently plugged my ME50B in for the first time in about 4 years the other day.

I bought it new in 2006-ish I think, used it exclusively for years until I started grabbing single pedals of things I used mostly (envelope filter, delay, different synths) but found a new appreciation for this being home ALL THE TIME now.
I got into the mindset of it being "not good enough" when I started buying more pedals but this thing still kicks ass for what it is, the things it does well it does very well (the t-wah edge sound, flange, phaser). The drives are a little wonky and I'm not big on the octave tones but I also need to play with the settings a whole lot more and plug it into the amp. The Chorus + Reverb mode I thought sounded absolutely gorgeous/ethereal.

Looking to integrate this back into my setup primarily for the compressor and the volume pedal which I've gone without for years now.
