Hey everyone. Have any of you used the Boss OC-3 octave pedal. I found a bunch of stuff about the OC-2. How much better is the 3 than the 2? How well does it track compared to the EBS? I see that it has a dedicated bass input on it. Thanks.

Everyone says its nothing special compared to the OC-2, which can be had used for less than half the OC-3.

the oc-3 is trash. get an oc-2. i dont know why they bothered upgrading it, its a phenominal suboctave..
glitchy.
I use the OC-2 mode primarily because it's glitchy and it fills a particular void with a fuzz pedal for a synthy sound.
Primarily, however, I use the polyphonic mode. It tracks far better.
The OC-2 is great. I just happened to fall into a good deal on the OC-3 which is different, but also great, and I hate to see it maligned.
Whereas many people find monophonic octavers to be worse than useless. Different strokes and all that ...
