Boss WL-50

I purchased the Boss WL-50 wireless system and it seems after about 45 minutes of playing, I start losing my low end. It seems like the overall sound starts compressing.
The tone length is off and I'm using a bass with passive pickups.

Unfortunately I bought this from a dealer that does not have a return policy so I'm stuck with it.

Anybody else have the same issue?
