Why do cover band always have the corniest names?

If you’re a cover band(and not some ‘serious’ interpreters of an artist or era, like some jazz ensembles)then you’re not art, you’re entertainment, a commodity, a product, and you have to have an unforgettable brand(not ‘band’)name that hopefully relates to the nature of your material. Think of all the tribute bands out there that do a play on words involving song or album titles. Yeah, some are clever, some are dumb, some are cringe. But as long as they’re remembered, that there’s name brand identification, then mission accomplished.
