BOSTON, with all the attention pointed at Tom, Brad, and Barry. Which when it comes to Boston is well deserved. Let's not forget how great of a bassist Fran Sheehan is. I always enjoyed his playing. So lively and flowing. His playing really stands out on this 1979 live show. Seems as if very few if any effects were used on this show which makes it even more listenable. RIP Brad Delp and Sib Hashian

As someone who lived in Boston when the band Boston was at their zenith, I can assure you that irrespective of what the cameraman in that video was doing, there was no attention pointed at Barry.

Nor Fran nor Sib. Tom & Brad could have gone out there with three trained monkeys* and nobody would have noticed nor cared.

(*If I'm not mistaken, they actually did so after a while.)

That's a shame as he is very talented. Both in his guitar playing and his local work. I do agree though that Tom would take just about anybody out on stage and do a show.

IMO no lineup was as good the this one was. When you watch this you can see that Tom is basically playing rhythm most of the time except for the pattern and harmony stuff. Other than that Barry seems to be doing all the lead work.
