Hey, I have 2 Sadowskys, 3 EBMMs and a bunch of Fenders.... my Squier VMFJ is one of my favorites to play. Doesn't matter how much is costs. It is a really nice playing, sounding and looking bass. Congrats.

I've been playing the Squier all day and am just loving it! The bass feels great in my hands, and the tone is so sweet and smooth for the price paid!

When I started playing on it I was reminded of some of the smooth bass lines off of the David Bowie "Labyrinth" soundtrack..

This song might not be everyone's cup of tea (kind of a love song or something..), but my Squier fretless sounds very similar to the bass in this video:

Be forewarned, it's a weird clip and the actual song doesn't really start until around 2:45 or so..

Thanks man, and I do think it was the sunlight as well.. In a darker setting the red isn't noticeable like how it is in that pic.. But it's really a nice looking bass either way! Me likes!

Based upon this thread and a couple of similar ones, I took delivery of a Sq. VMFJ yesterday....played it for about 3 hours last night....I think I am a fretless convert!!!!
