Double Bass Bracing questions

does anyone know where i can find diagrams of the front/back bracings for a double bass?

Harry Wake wrote a pretty basic book called "To Make a Double Bass", or something like that. It shows the basics of bracing a flatback, and bass bar construction. There generally isn't any bracing in a round back.

I just checked for the Harry Wake book at Amazon - the cheapest one they had was $91! will keep looking around. (Alibris.com didn't have it.)

all of this is great stuff! i checked out andrew brown's site - what talent! truthfully, i liked the art even more than the bass stuff. thanks guys - looking forward to more posts on this thread.
