I thought I'd put together a board to have fun with and experiment. Did the research and ended up with this:

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Soundblox Pro Bass Envelope Filter >
Soundblox Multiwave Bass Distortion >
Eventide ModFactor >
Eventide PitchFactor >
EHX Nano Freeze >
TC Electronic Delay

All of these, including the Boomerang, are powered by the Eventide PowerFactor mounted under the Pedaltrain Jr. Nice and compact and complete.

I'd probably never gig out with it, but what the hell.

Tons of good sounds here! How are you liking the Flashback? I'm looking into delay, but I'm unsure if something without a tap-tempo is actually usable in a band setting.

It actually does have "tap tempo". You hold the button down and strum or pluck at the tempo you want. You have a point however that you may have an issue making adjustments mid-song, something I haven't tried. However, the various delay types are great and you get a 40 sec. looper in one compact package.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be offensive.
see a lot of boards with a lot of toys......but rarely hear them used. :o
I guess I was questioning (not particularly you) whether or not, people use these effects practically in a live situation or they're just "cool" things to have on your board to impress other musicians?

link to tunes or band?

No worries Joshua. No offense taken.

I just felt like having a board at home that helped me get through ruts. Different patches incite new techniques and help me think differently about the instrument. I haven't gotten around to recording anything yet, but I have a few ideas I'm working on. Hopefully I'll get to the point where they're good enough to post somewhere.

My current gig situation is pretty straight-forward. I don't use any effects at all, so this would never see a public place unless someone hired me as a soloist and I'm light years away from that.

Cool board! Is that your signal path? I think your missing out on a lot of fun without have the pitch factor and Multiwave feeding the envelope filter?

I thought about that. I'll be changing things around periodically. I may start by simply moving the PitchFactor to the beginning of the chain... once I learn the beast.

how do you make names for Eventide presets?

When you save a new one (or while in bank mode you can hold down the encoder as you would save but on an existing preset), press the right footswitch, then use the encoder to scroll through the available characters. Pressing the right footswitch moves to the character to the right. Then hold down the encoder to save as normal. If I'm not mistaken, you need the latest software version but I'm not entirely sure when that came out. Just give it a shot...
