Double Bass Breaking the rules!

Gee, sorry! I forgot about this thread. Here's a full-length photo of the EUG. I sit behind it like a cellist with that horizontal dowel across the tops of my thighs and one foot on the t-bar end pin. That way it's held in place with no hands at all, leaving my fingers free. Same 660mm (26-inch) scale as a guitarrón, with the same string shape from nut to the bridge. Strings flat across, of course, so no bowing — except the two outside strings, like for that final note on a ballad, for example. The EUG breaks down and travels easily in my suitcase. With a small headphone amp, I can get in a lot of good practice on trips. This was a fun project.
