HI, I am new to the forum...

Just picked up a B2 last week..
I am a guitar player by nature, but I am very eager to learn bass...

I also picked up an Ampeg BA500. Man, is that thing loud....

How high should the strings be off off the neck?

I am used to playing guitar so when I picked my up I liked it because the strings are very close to the finger board... It does seem to buzz alot...

I got excited and thought id get to see a B-Quad. Darn.... just an old thread. lol

How you want the action is totally up to you. With a good setup you can get it low w/o buzz.
