Yup, that's what I was talking about. He came back in this latest Xmas episode which aired on Saturday. Vinnie lasted all of two and a half episodes.

I suspect it was a bit of drama to try and grab back some viewing figures.

I dunno, just not found Family Guy funny in a long time, they tend to overplay any decent joke and thoroughly run it into the ground.

He had gone forward in time to buy a toy coming out for Christmas and saw himself and took the return pad from the other Stewie to go back and save Brian.


I posted on another forum the day the aired the "Brian dies" episode that it was a publicity stunt and that Stewie would go back in time and save him. (It wasn't that hard to figure out...)

I dont usually catch Family Guy anymore, but I was watchign Sunday night when it happens.

All I could say was that I predicted this.

For those wondering how it happened...
Stewie from the past went to the future (present-time) to buy some game.
Present Stewie was at the mall with Vinnie to do something or other.
Present Stewie sees past Stewie and steals his time machine.
Present Stewie goes into the past before Brian was hit by the car, but after the time Machine had been broken.
Present Stewie saves Brian while in the past, and then fades away as that future timeline ceases to be (because Brian is alive).
