Picked up an IYV bass on Amazon secondhand, and I'm trying to figure out what strings are on it. I figured the hive mind here could help.
They're tapered at the nut end, not the bridge end, the low B at least has some sort of nylon type fiber between the core and the outer wraps, and bright polished ball ends. It looks like round core wire also. Pictures attached.
