Brice bridges and circle k strings

Anyone have a Brice with Circle k's? Not sure if I have to buy a new bridge to load them. The top load looks a little to small to load circle k's.

The thicker strings are tapered though... So shouldn't be a problem no?

They are! However I loaded some Ernie balls before and they seemed a little wedged. Could have been me though :/

Well, what gauge Ernie Balls were snug? If an .085 could fit I don't see a problem with the tapered strings fitting. I don't know the gauge of the tapered section but that's what you would be need to find out.

I have a Brice and use Circle K's on it. That same bass (HXB-406), in fact. I can even with my .220" E-string's taper through it. I'm not a fan of the bridge itself, but it is certainly functional and can handle the CKS taper.
