Damn, I'd bite, if i perhaps found one used. Damn, I wish that spacing was 19mm. And, perhaps the 33 1/4"- 37" scale length.

They are indeed related - though the Agile Intrepids were actually based on the original parallel-fret Defiant bass. For awhile during design or prototyping they were actually being called Defiant-8 IIRC.
