Is it glued in? If you put two nuts on the stud and tighten them together with good force you can put it in a vise and try to turn. If if is glued then heat it (only the metal!) with a torch or heat gun and that might loosen the glue. Anyway, throw those adjusters away and replace them with single piece aluminum ones.
