I always wondered what happens when someone wires their stereo amp to a dual VC and gets them out of phase![]()
Back when the world was young, it was a thing to connect a third speaker across the plus terminals of your stereo. You would get whatever instruments were recorded out of phase between the channels.
I went the opposite route when I was young.I remember that too. LOL

I had a cassette deck in my car that I reversed the connections on one of the heads and reversed one speaker phase. I then connected a 12" 15 ohm woofer across the 2 outputs.
I have no idea what it did for the impedance presented to the amps but it had the best bass sound around!![]()
