bridge pickup??

hi! does anybody know some manufacturers of 4-string bass bridge pickups? any type, but if i could choose i'd prefer classic fender bass bridge (ordinary bent plate + 5 screws) with (active?) piezo pickup. does somebody have some experience with that? i would mount in on precision bass, hoping it will somehow improve sound variety of the instrument.

FWIW:

sounds like your looking for a piezo bridge. Never looked into it myself but they're out there. Google search for piezo bass bridge.
