More pictures of the bridge in relation to the strings and the curve of the fingerboard (like sighting down a gun barrel) might help get your question answered. I personally am not sure which dimension of the bridge is of concern.
 
Are you talking about the differences from the E and G string out to the end of the arc? Not a worry; I doubt many DB bridges are perfectly symmetrical in that regard. If you notice, there is more distance between the A and the E string than between the A and the D.

yes the bridges tend to by asymetrical. When you fit the bridge you may have to use a wedge under one foot to center the bridge to the board. Maybe the board/neck is off center, or the top arching and etc. Then shaping the top of the bridge to the board creates a different shape. The sides just get cut down to make the bridge less wide. The shape of the outer edge of the bridge to the E and G string is just cosmetic. People just shape them differently. The whole instrument, except the 4 strings, are curves and not right angles

And this. The curve of the top of the bridge should match the curve of your fingerboard to get optimal string action. If you still have concerns and have a qualified luthier nearby, I'd take it to them and have them check it out.

There are several things that must be considered in the geometrical space and time continuum that is the double bass. Specific to your question, even with everything in perfect alignment, there will be a bit more space between the G string and drop off of the bridge than there will be on the E side. The string diameters differ and the arching is different.
Not a problem at all.
