Bridge upgrade?

It depends. What, if anything is wrong with the current bridge? What do you expect a new bridge to do for you that the stock one won't?
I have two VMs myself and I wouldn't bother changing the bridges because, for me, it's not needed. Keep in mind, a lot of people have swapped out Fender style bridges for fancier HM type bridges and hated them, enough to put back the stock ones.

I love my KSM Foundation Bass Bridges! Its the most solid bridge I have ever seen on the market. They just released a nickel one too! Though I have their black finish on my basses.

I'm a big fan of the Babicz because of their simple and precise adjustability. Plus...they lock in place to prevent lateral movement - a nice feature for guys that really have a heavy right hand.

I'd love to try a KSM for my next build...but they're even spendier than a Babicz.
