Bright strings for Squier Rascal

Due to the Humbucker pickup and short scale....... include the new Squier Telecaster bass, any bright sounding bass string only provide those crispy crunchy tone less than a week......

Beside play with pick , another option are preamp pedal like Tech 21 Samamp Bass Driver Di V2 or cheapo Joyo R30 and Caline CP60, those presence/ harmonic knob do help .

or........ try this ( sure along with bright sounding bass string ) , Mooer Yellow Comp. That EQ knob work like High pass/ low pass knob which able reduce those unwanted muddy boomy low end.
