I'm looking for bright sounding tapes for my NOBD Tune TS-365 fretless (https://www.talkbass.com/threads/nbod-reverb-score-tune.1675660/) - 36" scale length, requiring 37.5" winding length between ball and silks or taper. Anyone have any suggestions? I know I saw a list of extra-long strings on here, but I don't remember tapes on it...

La Bella White Nylon Tapewounds are probably the brightest of all tapes. And they do come in a 5-string "extra long" set with 38" winding length (ball end to silk).

For a 36″ scale needing ~37.5″ winding, most standard tapes are too short. Look at La Bella extra-long tapewounds (750N-B-XL or 750T-B-XL white nylon if you want a brighter tone) or Rotosound Tru Bass RS88 Extra Long. Black tapes are generally warm; white nylon tapes are the brightest option I’ve found that comes in XL lengths.

I just put them on, thanks great recommendation - They look, sound, and feel great. They do just barely fit though and the tapered B leaves more tapered core on the active part of the string then I would like but I can't back it up with a spacer because the windings are almost up against the nut , have maybe 1/4 inch to play with
