British Bass Players

Nick Beggs from Kajagoogoo (and other bands/projects). A very eccentric bloke but talented! Slap chops for miles. Also plays The Stick. One of my favorites since the early days.
I think I know him! I think he played with steven wilson in his most recent album, The Raven That Refused to Sing, the bloke with a beard and blond hair, and also usually plays with no pants?

Check out Shane Allesio in the London area. Not a big name yet but a really
gifted musician form the states.
Check out his web site & video of him playing a LeFay fretless Remington Steel.
Thanks for the advice! I really do love more of the underground scene! Although he seems more of a double bass wizard, I'll definitely check him! If you know more, post here, the more better!

Hello everyone! It has been awhile but I've managed to find quite a few british bass wizards: Julian Crampton, Rufus Philpot, Paul Tubbs Williams, Matt Lawton, Simon Little, the already mentioned Janek Gwizdala, Nathan from Brontide, the bass player from the band Patchwork Natives, Tony Franklin, Stuart Clayton...
If you have someone else to indicate, please do!
