British Bassist Club!

Sorry if this has been done (did have a check of "british" "UK" "bassist" "club" on the search)

There seems to be a club for the Finnish, but let's hear from you British folks. I was born in lincolnshire and have been moving anywhere from Sleaford to Kings Lynn to the Isle of Wight ever since.

"BBC" acronym...seriously, you can't PLAN this stuff.

:)

I believe I qualify, what with my being British and what not.
Currently studying at University of Southampton... Thought I'd throw that out their incase any other TBers go there as well.

Numerificate me broseph.

I'm in! Originally from Dorset. Living in California since 1995. They still can't understand half of what I say!

It's been an interesting journey. I was a co-owner of bass store for a couple of years but the recession put paid to that.

I try and get back home at least once a year, still have a mother and sister there. Coming back for Easter this year!

Crivens, this has ascertained more interest than one previously thought!

Fantastic stuff! Such a shame about the store though. There's been alot of that with the music shops around here as well :hmm:

I've got a friend in those parts [sunny california] who's obsessed with british accents, I've been trying to tutor her in as many of the oddities as possible for her visit this year :smug: haha. She got all funny when I started going on about "put the wood in the 'ole, will ya?"

Can't think why...:ninja:
