Here's the final coat before the clear varnish and hand polish. He certainly knows how to get a mirror surface.

...if it is genuine... the pics look kind of "strange" to me....
no pic from the label, but one of the website of Brock... and the price seems to be "extraordinary"....
I asked Brock and it's real as far as he knows. He seems to remember it as a good one from his earlier basses. Maybe the 9th or 10th and from the early 2000s. Quite a deal.

Wonderful - as expected. 15 years ago I had the opportunity for a few years in a row to play either a Ham or Radelet bass for a month out of the year. So picking it up today and playing it was just wonderful. It never happened for me to buy a bass back then - either lacking funds or none was available - that makes it extra special for me.
Once I settle in, I'll try to make a recording that does the bass justice and post it. Hopefully my meager abilities won't be a hindrance.
Mine set up for it's initial setup prior to the end of the fingerboard cut for extension.
Done! In a crate! Inside and outside color is quite different due to the depth of the finish.
