broken amp

so i was borrowing a friends bass amp which had been there since start of january
Im playing away bout 6 oclock the my guitarst turns his amp on and the bass amp just stops no big blow sound nothing just cut

Ita a marshall cheapo amp
I changed the fuse and that didnt work

any ideas

Sounds to me that when the guitar player turned on his amp, he blew a circuit breaker in the room. Have you checked that? Have you tried the amp on a different electrical outlet? Sorry if this seems silly or simple or whatever, but sometimes this is just the case.
