I've been curious about these as well, do they dampen the tone at all? buddy allergic to nickel used them all the time
They feel like really smooth flats but under the nylon wrap, they’re round wounds. So there’s more upper mids than regular flats but the top end is like it’s been low passed and the zing removed. I’ve used them for years and really love them.

I've been looking for a nice vintage change for my SB2, a nice flat to set it up with, may try these first, are they Le Bella brand? I bought some ghs pressure wounds, and ti flats, but I'm holding off on those for now. Last time I played flatround was in 97 on my upright lol
