That's a funny coincidence, I received my SV-Pre today and based on what I had read here, I setup my chain with my Diamond Bass Comp after my od's and the SV-Pre and I gotta say it sounds spectacular. I also enjoy the dime'd mids and low switch to the left tone that a few people recommended.

Next try diming the master and using the gain as your volume. Icing on the cake :)

Haha, I actually tried it today and liked it, loads. Once the Locust Star drops and I also order an LPF, there's nothing stopping me from consolidating my two pedal boards and finally hear the SV-Pre in a live setting.

I think I mentioned earlier this morning, I actually had a chance to do some recording with a heavier tone last night, and ended up using the Locust Star. I ran it into an SVT amp model, but could just as well have used the SVPre. I don't have any hardware amp sims, and wanted the cab sound to smooth out the drive, so went with the amp model this time. But usually I like using the SVPre direct with no cab sim for cleaner tones up to edge of breakup.

This seems more ambitious than I first thought. I may need to upgrade my choice of bike from a Honda Grom. Looking at Royal Enfield Himalayans now. Also, maybe trying to get CVS or United Health group to sponsor event participants for possible health care coverage. Maybe Progressive can take care of us on the vehicular/property damage fronts? Plus, I've always wanted to meet Flo. She's hot.

Do I need to bring my pedals and cabs too?

Yeah it’s an always on for me with slight modifications based on the room. It’s not an effect I just kick on. I could see that being useful though.
