I am in love with the depth switch!!!!!!! Only had 10 minutes with it. Running it into the effects return of a Mesa Subway D 800+ into a Barefaced 610.............wow. People are gonna love this. Definitely has its own flavor, not a copy of anything I've played before (which is a lot of amps, I have an amp problem. 
The overdrive is fantastic, from subtle is pretty extreme. Not crazy like the Verellen, but all the OD most people would need, and you can always swap out the first tube to try something else. The depth switch is super usable, especially with the gain cranked.
The eq is great, versatile is a great word for it.

Yeah I remember people comparing the meatsmoke to the old rack mount version. Yeah, same amp lol - your archetype pedal doesn't even have a mid adjustment right? I know I've seen a rack with an adjustable range for mid, another with just a level like the new one, and the pedal which I guess doesn't even have that? is that a bax stack? I see so many versions of this pre/boost (although I'm sure there's only one or two of each kind made)
