The locust star is awesome. You can use it as a balls out distortion, low gain drive or preamp. Very versatile.

Its a really nice dirt, and even clean boost if you want. I've probably used it more as a slightly gritty than full blown dirt honestly, definitely a keeper

Not hip to the differences. Not sure. Just think I’d be happier with something else. I’ve got more extra boosting sparkle enhancers than I need. Might even need a LHP sparkle filter as I’m brimming at the meniscus

Interesting, more Monocomps were supposed to be Coming Soon... maybe Josh is having trouble sourcing parts, like a lot of other builders.

I got mine used off of Guitar Center's website a couple of years ago. Not normally what I'd recommend, but I took a shot and it turned out okay. You never know.
