I really like the way you explain it and/or the way you describe what has happened behind the scenes of this/that song!

Oh man, what a horrible error on my part! Thanks for spotting it, that'll teach me to check my work better in future - while correcting my awful copy and paste work I also noticed that I hadn't written the altered turnaround in bar 90 correctly. Sloppy work all round, it seems!

As far as your corrections to the second measure of the main groove go , I agree about the Ab, but I still hear beat 3 as starting with two Cs in a row. I used this video to double check (bass at about 2:45), as Rick has managed to conjure up the stems:

Here is a slow (very) soundclip (just first two measures) of that bass line where I hear Ab Bb C in Measure 2.
And there are two Bb before Eb.

Also, I've checked the "live" bass performance from my previous post, and the "live" bass plays Ab, Bb, C.
P.S. Also, the 'live" bass on Beat 1 in M1 slides (descending) from F to Eb.

Very strange... In the audio you posted I hear it as (four 16th-notes starting on the 'and' of 2) Ab, Bb, C, C. When I slow down the isolated bass stem (attached) I don't hear it, though.

Yes, in that Rick Beato's video, the bass notes are slightly different. Why? I have no idea, but, at least, it would be a good idea to change that pickup note of Bb to Ab in M2.

When I really slow down the "live" bass line, I get the following notes in that M2 spot:

Ab - muted/ghosted F - muted/ghosted Ab - C, and C; therefore, I would change that Bb to Ab and would play two C's.

Go figure.

Only as some form of unnecessary pure and fanatic hobby, here is a that spot between Ab and C at a very(!) slow tempo, and a double octave high.
There is a slide from Ab to Bb to C on the synth.
It's all about the synth bass loaded with all kinds of effects that could askew our aural vision of the notes.

The bass plays Ab, next muted/ghosted no-note only drum kick, and then C.
