Double Bass BSX Bass: Dimensions.

On the BSX Webpage they list the Allegro as having the following dimensions.

Length 56”, Width 11 1/2”

If you have such a BSX Allegro, would you mind to clear the following questions up for me ?

Question 1
If someone have a full size BSX Allegro, can you tell me between which points the 56" is measured ?

Measuring one I tried, I dont get 56" from bottom of tailpiece to top of bass.

Question 2

What is the scale length measured between the bridge and the nut for the "" Length 56”, Width 11 1/2” "" Allegro ?

The Lower bout measurement is obviously between the widest part below the cuts.

Thanks

Thank you very much for the reply.
I am in the process of buying a BSX.
The one I tried, advertised as Length 56”, Width 11 1/2” "" Allegro, was an upright BSX, but with a scale-length of 27 " , which is less than some Fender electric basses.
The overall length of the BSX bass was 41" not 56 1/2" as you reort
This does not qualify as an upright bass and more like a Cello.
I could not find any reference to this on BSX website.

Can you confirm that the widest part of the lower bout is 11 1/2" ?
Also that the scale length is not 27" ?

Thanks for your answer.

You gave me all the information.
I apologize for misinterpreting your response.

I probably reacted on an earlier version and you edited in the missing details.

That gives me all I need thanks.
