Massive fan from day one. Actual member of the Blue Blaze Irregulars (fan club) and recipient of the World Watch One newsletter, and proud owner of one of the original collectible "Team Banzai" hachimaki (headbands)! :D

Not my pic (this one's from the internet), but here's what it looks like. It's reversible; The screen-accurate side doesn't have the "Team Banzai" section in the red part.

An amazing movie (and book)! I simply adore this move. "Home is where you wear your hat." Home of some of the best quotes ever, "Where-ever you go, there you are." It must have been a hoot to work on.

I remember liking it as a kid...
It turned up on Roku channel a month or so ago. Started it and couldnt handle its dated feel. I meant to get back to it. Havent yet. If I had to pick one from that era I would still be able to watch, it would probably be Ice Pirates.

Yes, I've been a fan since I saw it in the base theater where I was stationed. And, of course I have the DVD. Watched it again for the umteenth time last week, in fact. I'm still bummed that they didn't make the sequel... Although, if you want to see how it might have turned out? Watch Kurt Russell's Big Trouble In Little China. It's script is mostly the one for the stillborn sequel.... and, yes, I have that one, too. Oops; gotta go.. "Monkey Boys are in the facility....";) I like Ice Pirates, too, by the way... but, apples and oranges, AFAIK...
