For that little scratch, why not just get it and find out.

I'm in the camp of "you get what you pay for..." but I'm always intrigued about items like that.

The Carvin DI's are a good deal. I think you can get three of them for $60. I've got one and it works very good for a passive DI.

For DIs i'm fine with the standard passive rapco most of the time, although I've pretty much switched to any of these EWI products now, the prices can't be beat and the quality is really good. Passive DI for an active bass or a keyboard and an active DI for any passive instrument.

I generally stay away from anything that says Pyle, berry or ART on it.
