Buffer (boost) preamp recommendation

I have a Jazz bass fitted with hum canceling pickups. It has amazing tone, but the output is weak. Does anyone besides Bartolini (TC-3, TC-5) make a plain preamp without EQ just to provide a bit of gain boost? It appears that LanePoor.com (legacy) offered one but they have not responded to any emails.
