Bugera Ultrabass Btx3600?

I've just bought one. Haven't had any problems with it at all yet and I am really happy with it. I'm running it through just 1 4x10 cab atm but I'm getting a 1x15 in couple of weeks to utilise the bi-amping feature and sending the highs to the 4x10 and lows to the 1x15.

Bad idea! That 410 can move a lot more air and produce deeper lows than a single 15 will! It will also take more power before giving out and be able to go louder than the 15.

I've heard a lot of good about these amps and plenty bad also haha. I think it's probably a good amp, but people have had bad experiences with it. I'm thinking about getting one myself and I'm gonna trust the people who say it's good and hope for the best :D

It's the Behringer/Bugera thing. They produce products at extremely low costs (with quality suffering) and sell them for cheap to budding musicians who are to naive to know what they're buying. It's like buying McDonalds for your bass.

Plus, the power rating is pure marketing BS. It's probably closer to 800w RMS per side at 2 ohms. Still a crapload of power, but totally unnecessary.

Edit: By the way, I defended Bugera for a long time on here until one of my band mate's amps blew after a bit of regular use. That's just silly.

The BTX3600 is a Monster and it sounds Incredible I have Been playing for over 40 years 30 years professionally and this is my dream Amp Head the Bi-Amp feature is phenomenal i run it through 115 cab and a 410 cab the 15 on the low side and the 410 on the high side and the sound is amazing it has to be the quietest amp i have ever used Clean Clean Clean Power those are the good Points now for the bad Points This thing weighs a Ton it needs to it has 3600 watts and it runs at 18amps so if you have older house with bad wiring in it don't plug this thing in redo your wiring or you will burn this thing up and also it needs at the very minimum 20amp breaker behind it what i do is i have always made my own electrical boxes where i can ensure i have the correct wiring also never run your equipment on a power strip you will burn things up quicker than you know all in all this is the top of the line for Bugera and you will never find a Better Amp at this price EVER OH and by the way the Quality Doesn't suffer on this Bad Boy it is Top Quality and also with this much power you get a Cleaner sound and its not B/S i run this thing in BI-Amp Mode and it runs at 1500 watts per side so you are getting 1500 for your lows and 1500 for your highs Earth Shaking Sound and Yes it is very very necessary for the Clean Sound

Behringer/bug-era makes flashy cheap amps that sometimes sound good but often fail.

I bailed out a punk kid with a broken Behringer in stage one night about 2 years ago with my (also questionable) Eden E- 300 tube head.

Use the search feature- they fail on stage. Reason # UNO to stay away from any equipment IMO!
