Bugera Veyron T amp output cables not working

I just picked up the Veyron T.
I get it home and plug a cable that has 1 end speakon and the other a quarter inch plug. There is no sound.. I'm in getting output from the DI as well as headphones..
Is it because the cable doesnt have the same connectors on both sides??
Is plugged into aJBL for monitor with a horn and a 15.
Please help and advise before iI purchase new cables..
Anyone else have this issue??

Many class D operate a bridged pair of amplifiers as a single output which makes the chassis at signal ground voltage. Potentially you may have shorted the amp via the your 1/4'' end. Poof. Something like that.

Could be it was already dead, or your cable is no good. No reason it wouldn't work with a good speakon to 1/4.

I had this happen with my Veyron T a few months ago connecting a Speakon to 1/4” cable. Turned out the Speakon connector was just not making contact. It was one that had a tab to lock it in. I changed the cable to one that had a twist lock and it ended up working fine.

If you can, I’d take the amp in to a music store that has cabinets and ask to try a cable with a cab and see if the cable works. If so, pick it up. If not, unfortunately, downunderwonder may be right...

It's possible that your JBL cabinet is switched to 2+/-, it needs to be wired to 1+/-. Some models are switchable.

It's also possible that the cable is wired 1+/2+ for bridging with a conventional amp.

It's also possible that either the amp or cable is defective.

Thanks all for advising.. I will take it into a shop tomorrow I think and try a cabinet and cable out...

Would the amp be defective if you still get sound in headphones and also through DI

Possibly, it depends on where the headphone signal is generated in the signal path.

The cable works great with my crown amp going into bugera cabinets.
I had a guy buy a couple cabinets of me a while back.. He had a little shuttle amp like this not good one though.
He wanted to try the cabinets with his head there was no sound at all same cables but he went and played later..
Going into a shop tomorrow to test will update when I get it figured out

The Crown amp may have the two channels with outputs wired 1+/1- and a bridged output wired 1+/2+

You really need to sort this out BEFORE you damage an amp. From your haphazard troubleshooting attempts I do not think there are/were problems with any of the amps...

What was wrong (or more correctly what do you THINK was wrong) with his Shuttle amp?

I personally think it's a cable issue
I have the crownamps bridged..

Mine has a tab as well.. I really think it's the cord.. We'll see tomorrow
