Bummer...

So I got a markbass TA501 on clearance at GC a few weeks back and I just got an avatar 212 Neo today, I plugged everything in...nothin...I double checked and triple checked everything...So now I'm really getting upset because it worked fine in the store two weeks earlier. I wasn't getting a signal to the compressor VU meter so I figured maybe there was something wrong with the tube in there. I took off the top cover and checked that out, was working perfectly. I did notice, however that the input jack was screwed up inside. It looked like someone jumped on the cable while it was still plugged in, yanking the input jack off the amp. I took it to GC and got my money back, and I'll be buying a Little mark II, but man, what a buzzkill.

You didn't happen to keep your rack ears, did you?

:)

The one I bought from GC arrived without them yesterday. Trying to locate some now....

That's BS rustynuts(hee,hee:smug:)!!!
Rack ears are supposed to come with it. I don't know why GC tries to stiff people on things like that. I've heard numerous times about GC saying that a USA Fender Jazz, etc. doesn't come with a case.
In fact, I bought a '57 RI P bass (which is supposed to come standard with a tweed case) from them a few years back. They told me a case wasn't included. After telling them that I wanted a refund, the manager went in the back for about a half hour and couldn't find it a tweed case. I finally settled on a dark brown/orange lined Fender case:scowl: Schisters!!!!

I call BS too, and the salesman and manager that I was dealing with will be back in the store today so I'm going to call them and see what they can do for me. If nothing else I'll return the friggin' thing and buy it from another GC. It's one of the items on closeout right now....But closeout isn't supposed to mean missing pieces.
