What a cool song - Burnin for you. The bass note after "home isn't pretty" is hard to hit thought - tricky.



Anywho…I am not saying this because I play bass and this a bass chatboard, but got to admit that most of the good songs have one thing in common, good bass.

The bass drives the songs. That's why I am very happy to be a bass player, although merely a hobbyist for life.

I always liked the sound of the bass on that song. has a nice low Grrrrr. On one hand it has nothing to do with Geddy lee moving picture tone, but in some ways, Geddys bass sound on MP has that sound.
Maybe that makes zero sense? lol
