Burns basses?

I was wondering If anyone has ever played one of these. I've searched around the forums and couldn't find anything.

I have never seen a bass that looked like this before.

British guitars and basses from the 60's that are being reproduced in Asia.

Can't remember but I think this one is a "burns Bison" bass.

The Shadows used them for a while. They are fun and unusual but basses while sturdy are quite heavy.
