I'm a bass player who loves to play rock and funk, and I'm looking for buy a new bass.
I love yamaha basses and I have a yamaha 5 strings bass who has a good sound. I would like to upgrade to 6 string bass and I found that the model TRB6PII its pretty good bass.
I had the chance to test the TRB1006, but the funk and slap sound didn't like me, I couldn't find with the EQ and Pan button a sound that match with I'm looking for.
I would like to know if someone who has a TRB6PII its happy with the slap sound of that bass. I love the slap sound of Victor Wooten and Vail Johnson, but the basses that they play are pretty expensive.
My rig is a Gallien Krueger amp and 2 Hartke cabinets.
