C-F-C-G Tuning

I picked up this tuning from Soundgarden's song "4th of July", and I like it a lot. The guitar counterpart C-F-C-G-B-E is also interesting to me (and somewhat absurd since the two highest strings are a half step off from most of the others), and I'm playing around with both. I was curious as to whether anyone else here had tried this tuning, or a similar tuning that leans heavily on fifths.

Yep. My favorite tuning is ADADG. Having two sets of open octaves is just nice. Ryan Martine uses this tuning to tremendous effect.

I started listening to the video and as soon as I heard the bass tone and the way the first few notes were played, I immediately knew is was Martinie. didn't even read what you said until I heard him playing. Guess it just goes to say how unique his tone/style combo is. He really is a phenomenal bassist
