Hello everyone, im curious about a new cab. I have an 810e and i like it a lot. The problem is im playing a lot more gigs these days and its a bother to travel with the cab I live upstairs... I want a new cab easier to get around with but with good volume. im open to any suggestions. i play a p bass and have a gk 800rb and also use a svp-cl preamp with power amp more often than the gk. any suggestions?

cab alternative/suggestion

I've heard the Bag End S15D sounds awesome with the 800rb. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but I really want to. I use an 800rb with an 810e and I love it.
Mesa Powerhouse 4X12. It's the same size, lighter, has more handles to make for an easier time when moving the cab, comes with a cab cover, solid tolex, and is one of the best sounding cabs I've gotten the chance to play through.
Dare I say fEarful? They wont be as colored as most other cabs but a 1212/6 would get you as much if not more SPL. It will also weigh 70lbs, thats half of the 810. So Smaller, lighter cab, great power handling and spl, just have to see if its "your sound".
