Hey fellow bottom freq dwellers,
I'm new to this forum and i wanted to get some general opinions on fave cab configurations.I live in Australia so gear isnt as cheap as you lucky chaps in USA.
I've got a Hartke 3500 head which i use an old Peavey 4x10 at the moment.
Started looking for something more portable....i'm looking on ebay at the moment at a Berg HS210 and a Eden D212XLT. But today i tried a Genz Benz 2x10 (with tweet) and Mesa 2x10 (with tweet) and finally a Mesa 1x15 (with tweet).The Mesa 1x10 was pretty nice, the GB was shite (so freakin noisy and woofy) and my fave for sound was the Mesa 1x15 (very full sound with just enough tops from the tweet). These are in a shop and are too expensive for me at the moment.
What i'm looking for is some feedback on which out of the Berg HS210 and the Eden D212 would be best considering i like the Mesa 1x15???
Also, i read a post that the Eden D212 might actually be a 4 ohm box?? I would prefer a 4 ohm box as i can run 2 cabs if needed for a large venue or outdoor gig...
