Cab Dilemma

Just order them. I got mine from Bass Northwest in Seattle. Call Bag End. They will steer you in the right direction. Great! Another Bag End fan! They SHAME anything you hear at a Guitar Center.
Thanks Amigo, but it's such a hassle trying to order and ship from the beautiful USA and import to Canada. If I lived in the States, I'd be right on it!

hi Mytango.....if you could stand a 2x15 there is a killer used Peavey w/ Black Widow speakers at the Scarborough L&McQ.....$300
otherwise, I'd go for the Traynor..have played, it is killer gear....let us know what you ever find out about BAG Ends too, would be interested

Thanks for the heads up on the PEAVEY. Yes - I DO LIKE THE TRAYNOR GEAR. Built in Canada too.

I'm interested in the Bag Ends, too, Telecopy, but Canadian duty/import fees etc, in my experience are highly daunting, to say the least – easily pushing the Bag End from being almost affordable boutique to no-way-I-can-pay. Luckily for me, I'm not in Canada at the moment and the only fee that haunts me is the $hipping.

I wish the Traynor micro-heads were available when I needed an amp a few years back. I love my EA Micro, but a SB500... oh yeah!

yup.....I have their SB200 head as well....killer tone/volume and they have a 500 watter now .....worth trying......I was tempted by that Ampeg, but got the Traynor when it 1st came out.....
Hi. That SB200H is a real sweet gem. Almost bought it when they first came out, but took me a long time to be convinced of the new class D power amps. Kinda old-school thinking. Was shocked to see how small it was - I WAS WRONG - big on clean power. Happy with my PF-350 - has killer thick fat lows and clean highs. Great for my old 1989 Fender Japan Jazz Bass Special fretless and my huge home-brew cab with a 350w RMS 15" and I'm sure it will drive a second stacked cab in the future.
Cheers
