Ethnic differences in vegetable preferences aside, I really don't think you could do better than the EV TL-606 enclosure for that driver. JBL did publish some plans for a 3.5 cubic foot bass-reflex box in their enclosure building guide that they produced in the early '70s...they are out there on the Inter-webs. (The Altec Heritage site has everything that JBL ever published about building enclosures.) That box was about 30" x 24" x 11-ish", IIRC, and there are various duct-lengths given to tune them to the desired frequency. But IMO the 606 box is the way to go. I think it has a better form-factor and the performance is ever bit as good, if not better, as the JBL box...and I have built and used both. In fact, I'm considering building a couple more just for fun...I've got a bunch of E-140s that need to be somewhere, and two of those under my venerable 800RB is probably way more rig than I'd ever need.
