Cab lock

Is there a possibility to lock a bass cab? I once owned a lock for a 1/4 jack but it did not work proberly. To many strange things happen in our 4 band rehearsal room!

I hate sharing a jam space with people who use my gear. My solution was to change the door locks. That is another story.

I don't know of any solution to stop them, merely to catch them after they did it.

You could wire a 'hidden' switch to the underside of the cab that kills the input....

If someone tries to use the cab without turning the switch on....they'll get no sound.

If you want to protect your cabinet you can add a key switch to the back panel. This is a simple switch that uses a removable key to operate it. Problem if that is you go to use the cabinet and you've forgotten the key you're done for.

This is my favorite solution. Cheap, easy to change back, and will leave people scratching their heads.
