A cheap gutted 2x10, should I jump on it? If so, any speaker suggestions? It probably needs some padding or something right?

Looks like a BC210. Eminence custom-built the 10" drivers for Yorkville. The Yorkville part number for the 10" drivers is 7281. Yorkville.com lists the 7406 driver as a replacement product for the 7281. You could send an email to [email protected] and ask about driver availability or possible substitutes.
You should hear back from them soon. I have written to them a few times and the person who replies is often Mike Holman, the guy who wrote Invalid Link Removed in 2002.
