Is this what I need to clean and lube noisy pots; like the volume pot on my Eden Metro?
Or do I need a specific cleaner, followed by a specific lube?

The Gold formulation is for metal-to-metal interfaces, like edge connectors or tube sockets. I generally use 5% Deoxit D5 (red) followed by Cailube MCL for faders or pots. The Caig website has specific recommendations for which products to use for what applications, check it out.

This'd get her done, eh?

I have a G&L L2Ke...the treble pot does nuttin'; she's all bright, all the time, won't roll back. Would clean and lube bring back functionality ya think? Or, new pot time?

Jah, mon. My local Radio Shack has started carrying Caig products now too, FWIW.

Double check the grounding to that pot for starters.

In instruments, I usually replace rather than attempt repair, unless it's an oddball part like the treble pot in my EUB. No amount of cleaner helped for more than a few weeks, but the Cailube has hung tough for half a year so far.

If the CaiLube doesn't do it, it's definitely replacement time. It's the best out there.
